Pendants From Dog Teeth
This was a commission, to remember a beloved dog after she had to be put down. The vet had extracted the canine teeth when she was put down, and the customer asked me to turn them into pendants. The teeth had been stored for a while and had begun to crack, so I cleaned them to avoid further deterioration and filled the cracks with epoxy to give them more strength and stop them from being damaged by catching on things. The pendants were then carved in wax and cast in sterling silver. One of them features a piece of hand-cut amber, to mimic the colour of the dog's eyes.
